I have some sort of bumps on my forehead and it is spreading. What could it be?

I was trailer camping at a lake for a couple days. We have been swimming, playing in the sun, and jet-skiing. One of my friends little siblings had been diagnosed with shingles on his upper leg side. I have not had them before or chicken pox, but my mom says that its not shingles (she is a nurse). I woke up and had one bump on my forehead and thought because i was sleeping outside, it was a bug bite, but then it started to spread. It is itches but not all the time and not too bad. The bumps are small and slightly red. I really am scared that this may leave scars. I am not touching them other than to clean my face.
