Testing too early?negative hpt period due in 1-4 days, no spotting like I get every month a couple days before?

Ok this is the deal, I had my last period on Jan 4th, and I started using my ovulation predictor kit on the day after I stopped my period on the 10th. I didn't get a positive result until the 15th of January. I had a positive on the 15th and 16th, and then nothing on the 17th. Husband and I had on the 15th and 17th. I had ovulation pain and increased discharge on the 17th, so then I had to go to work on the 19th, 20th 21st on midnights, I'm a nurse, so we didn't have , but then those three days I had white stretchy discharge and my right side was still hurting, so Friday morning when I got home I decided to take an OPK and it was positive again! so just in case we did it again that day, (dh was home with 2 year old sick) and the rest of the weekend. so i have been dizzy on 3 different occasions, kind of sick to my stomach, still having twinging pains on either side, and the really weird part for me is my are sore, and they are NEVER EVER EVER EVER SORE, except when I was pregnant. I never have sore before my period. so my periods are between 28-30 days long, so I could be due for a period anywhere between tomorrow and Wednesday. Am I testing too early possibly. Please answer, and thank you
