Why am i so scared of....?

Ok im 13 years old and im a female. I am super afraid of carpenter ants! the are just so scary looking and they are all black. I have hated them since i was in 5th grade. I have no clue why i am scared of them. Honestly i would rather have 1 million spiders crawl on me than have 1 carpenter ant on me. besides do carpenter ants even bite? but who cares im still petrified of them. another thing im super scared of is FLYING in a plane. i get so nervous when we even go to an air port or when i see a plane in the sky. i went flying over the summer to mexico from pittsburgh p.a. over and i was like having a fit i wanted to just get off. My family is saying were going flying again and i can't even think about planes it just makes me sick. i have a crazy imagination and think of the wildest things that could happen to me on a plane. im so paranoid.
